Meet Dr. Kye Mallernee

Dr. Kye Mallernee received his doctorate in dental medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kye is an active member of the ADA, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio Dental Association, and a recipient of a Preceptorship in Oral Implantology from the University of Texas Health and Science Center San Antonio which grants him fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  He stays highly active in continuing education and focuses his studies primarily of implant dentistry, cosmetics, and surgical treatment.   

Dr. Kye enjoys practicing dentistry because it provides an opportunity to establish relationships with people that you simply can’t find in any other industry. He enjoys giving back and volunteering in programs like “Give Kids a Smile” and the Special Olympics.  When he is not treating patients Dr Kye and his wife, Cara, like to enjoy their time traveling, hiking, living an active lifestyle, and supporting the Chicago Bears with their two fur babies Dexter and Winslow.

Meet Dr. McCue

Dr. Tricia McCue recognized her passion for dentistry as a young child in her hometown of Baton Rouge Louisiana.  She quickly realized this was her calling, and provides exceptional and gental care to brighten her patients’ beautiful smiles. She received her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU in New Orleans. In between classes, Dr. McCue was a member of the Golden Girl Dance Line and is still a spirited and avid LSU football fan. Geaux Tigers! 

With more than 19 years of dental experience, Dr. McCue strives to always provide the highest quality dental care for each individual patient. Dr. McCue is actively involved in her community, attends Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, volunteers on a regular basis for Mobile Loaves to Fishes, has participated in San Antonio Hope of Smiles, and has served as a missionary for dental care at an orphanage in Honduras.  Dr. McCue has a gentle approach that is particularly calming and effective with children. In her free time, Dr. McCue enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and their King Charles Cavaliers named Baxter and Pippa. They love fishing, hiking, music, live sporting events, swimming, sightseeing, traveling, and chasing after Baxter and Pippa.
